General Manager

Our Concierges

Jessica:
The resort’s General Manager oversees the everyday management of staff, maintenance, and the well-being of our furry guests. As one of the original concierges since our opening in 2007, Jessica has proven to be a valuable part of our company’s growth. Keira, her tiny pug, can often be seen playing in our daycare and is featured in many of our resorts advertising. Jessica is studying at Mt. Sac College to be a veterinary technician and later to pursue a veterinarian degree. Her belief is that with that degree she’ll be better equipped to help the dogs, cats, & other domestic pets she has loved since childhood.

Owner and Operator
Gia Quinlan:
As the owner of the Riverwalk Pet Resort, The animal care industry is not new to her family. Though the resort was officially opened in November 2007, Gia and her husband own a companion company which has manufactured and distributed disinfectant products nationwide for the past 25 years. Her father in law, well known Inland Empire businessman Joseph Quinlan originally began an arm of business in 1958 which her husband continues to run today.
As a long time resident of Riverside, Gia, her husband, and their two kids, share their busy life with four dogs and a cat named Happy. As a family run company, her father Ben can often be seen working on building maintenance at the resort. While Christa and Connor are usually beside their mom at the many animal events they attend.

Ben:
Ben, a college student pursuing a Business & Marketing degree joined us in the summer of 2010. Beginning as a concierge, he excelled at the many tasks required of our staff. Familiar with canines from an early age. Ben’s family includes his dogs Lucy, a Golden Retriever & Gracie, a Sheppard Mix, and a short-haired domestic cat named Tobias. Now, part of the resorts management team. Ben is in charge of marketing, promotional advertising & local events.

Keila:
Came to the pet resort just after Christmas 2010. Her knowledge of small domestic animals has been an asset to our staff. Experienced with rabbits, fish, reptiles, and birds she helps to keep our petite guests healthy and comfortable during their stay. Although Keila has always wanted to study veterinary medicine, she recently changed her major to nursing.

Tanya:
Began working at the pet resort in the spring of 2011. But her lifelong love of animals comes from being raised around a menagerie of pets. Tanya’s mom, a local dog groomer & dad, are both well known for rehabilitating & fostering hurt or abandoned animals. Tanya has experience with horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, goats, ferrets, birds, hamsters, opossums, rats, etc. As a college student, she hopes to make animal care her career.

Katie:
Whose first love has always been animals, grew up on a small ranch surrounded by 15 dogs & 13 cats. But her affection for horses began in her teen years and has continued to expand. Katie, a busy college student now rescues seriously injured horses. She hopes to one day open an animal sanctuary where every unwanted pet will find a home.

Hector:
He happily joined our team in the summer of 2011. As our facility has continued to grow our need for qualified concierges has been met by many new faces. As a youth, Hector was the animal caregiver all his family members and neighbors rushed to if they needed help. His skills with reptiles, rodents, potbellied pigs, turtles, and other exotics keep him busy at the pet resort. He hopes to begin his veterinarian program in the near future.

Brittany:
Brittany, literally grew up in the animal care industry. Her grandparents own and operate a popular, local area feed store. Working around a variety of domestic animals from an early age, Brittany always knew she was destine to become a veterinarian. Though juggling a demanding academic career, she can be found at the pet resort every weekend. We are confident that through her dedication & determination, Brittany will soon achieve her goal of becoming the Inland Empire’s newest veterinarian.
